- How do I schedule a tour?
  During the school year, campus tours are given to prospective families each Wednesday morning at 9:30 following the School Mass. Tours may also be scheduled through our online form on the page below:

- What grade levels do you serve?
  We proudly offer a comprehensive curriculum to students from Pre-Kindergarten for 3-year-olds through Grade 8.
- What standardized testing do students have?
  The NWEA MAP Growth tests are administered three times a year in grades Kindergarten through Grade 8.
- How much is Tuition?

- What are your school hours?
  During the school year our School Office opens at 7:30 AM and closes at 4:00 PM.
  
  The first bell to begin the school day is 7:45 AM and the final bell to end the school day is 3:10 PM.
- Are scholarships and financial aid available?
  Assumption Catholic School, in partnership with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, does offer financial aid to families who are committed to Catholic education and who have demonstrated financial need. - What are your class sizes?
  At Assumption Catholic School, we strive to keep class sizes appropriate.
  
  For our Pre-Kindergarten classes, we try to limit the class sizes to 18-22 students with a Teacher Aide.
  
  For our Lower School (Kindergarten through Grade 4) we try to limit the class sizes to 22-24 students.
  
  For our Middle School (Grade 5 through Grade 8) we try to limit the class sizes to 24-26 students.
- What does it mean to be a STREAM school?
  Assumption Catholic School is a STREAM Synergy School. STREAM enables teachers to focus in an interdisciplinary way on Science, Engineering, Technology, and Math (STEM), while integrating the Arts and allowing our Catholic Faith to flow throughout the daily routines (STREAM).

- How is Technology utilized at ACS?
  Assumption Catholic School is blessed to be able to provide our children with access to technology that will help shape their academic development. Our campus utilizes the Google platform and our children use Chromebooks in all grade levels. Our Middle School students participate in a full 1:1 Chromebook program that permits them to use the devices outside of the campus to extend the learning environment!

- Where do we purchase uniforms?
  Risse Brothers School Uniform company is the preferred vendor for our school uniforms. They provide all of our plaid uniforms and uniforms with the School crest. You can find more information about our uniform policies by clicking the link below:

  We communicate with our families through a variety of platforms. Below are some examples:

- Is ACS accredited?
  Yes, Assumption Catholic School is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Department of Education. The Texas Catholic Conference Education Department, through its association with the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC), is recognized by the Texas Education Agency and is responsible for the implementation of the accreditation process for Texas Catholic Schools.
- Do you have to be Catholic to attend a Catholic School?
  No, students of all faiths are welcome to become a part of the Assumption Catholic School community. All of our students are expected to participate in liturgies and religion classes offered as part of our Catholic education.
